ABOUT
The horticultural and nature industries are evolving, with the next generations of young people and career changers stepping up in response to a changing climate and increased community desires.
This is a space for us to share and platform our thoughts, experiences, and creative expressions. It is an open-ended gathering that hopes to document this change and create the communities we want to live and work in.
-
This is not an exclusive space, however, certain voices will be prioritised...
As a guide:
young people who are under 35 years old
early careers who are in the first 5 years of their career or land work learning journeys
You do not have to be in the professional industries to get involved either - anyone active in horticulture and land work from volunteers and hobbyists, to students and those looking to make livelihoods through nature are welcome!
-
A place to share knowledge, experiences, and desires; criticisms and challenges; creative projects and expressions
Thematic submission cycles
Grassroots approach - openly connecting across grounded lived experiences
-
This is primarily an online magazine with work published digitally here. The hope is to work towards a more curated print version of each cycle.
Yearly thematic cycles create an anchor point and tether for submissions. For example, the current cycle is HUMUS! Submissions and works will be continuously accepted and published throughout the year. So there is no strict deadline. If you have something you would like to share please get in touch!
We are also open to one off or time sensitive pieces, so connect with us if this applies to your work.
